Williams closes the distance and clinches up with Ball, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes Ball against the cage but Ball circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Williams shoots in for a takedown but Ball shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Elliot Ball has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chaz Williams. Williams gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Williams takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Williams has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Williams tries to clinch up and Ball counters with a nice body shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ball keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Williams shoots in but no luck this time. Williams fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.#T1# Williams tries for a takedown but Ball sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Ball throws a solid leg kick but Williams takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ball. Williams fails with the takedown and Ball counters with a flying knee. Nice. Williams avoids a kick to the body.
