#R1# The fight stays on the outside here - Taylor looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Thompson is looking to counter punch. Thompson throws a right and a left that both miss. Taylor darts in looking for a takedown but Thompson gets double underhooks and turns Taylor into the cage. Taylor with a lazy takedown attempt and Thompson counters with a nice body shot. Taylor is looking to clinch but Thompson is avoiding it.
Thompson avoids a punch combination nicely.
Taylor throws a right and a left that Thompson avoids nicely. Thompson throws a chopping leg kick but Taylor manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Thompson throws a body shot but no joy. Taylor unleashes a big counter combination but Thompson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Taylor shoots in but Thompson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kenny Thompson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse Taylor. Taylor is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Thompson pulls him back up using the underhooks. Taylor jumps guard but Thompson stands there with Taylor around his waist. Taylor gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Thompson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Taylor tries to score a body lock takedown but Thompson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Taylor jumps guard but Thompson stands there with Taylor around his waist. Taylor taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

#R1# Sanderson tries to bum rush Taylor with a series of wild strikes but Taylor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.#TD2# Sanderson gets caught napping as Taylor dives in and scores a takedown. Sanderson manages to retain guard. Sanderson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Taylor won't allow Sanderson to get back to his feet. Sanderson tries to land a sweep but no joy. Sanderson pulls Taylor in close to prevent any damage. Sanderson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.#SUB# Sanderson has his foot on Taylor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Taylor works his way back into a safe position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That was a close second round but I would say that Daniel Sanderson will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Taylor is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Taylor.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Sanderson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. #T4# Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Taylor dominating with strikes here. Taylor lands a couple of good shots and Sanderson has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Taylor has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Taylor loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Sanderson hold on?
