#R1# Sloppy strikes from Gnarly. Those never looked like landing. Knight slips a jab and a cross from Gnarly.
Knight tries a quick counter leg kick but Gnarly is wise to it. Knight tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Knight throws a sloppy head kick and Gnarly moves out of range easily. Gnarly throws a right hand that Knight ducks under and follows up with a left that Knight also avoids with ease. Knight doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.#CL2# Knight closes the distance and pushes Gnarly back into the cage. Gnarly blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.#BC2# Knight pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Gnarly misses with a double jab

Bob Gnarly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A left and a right from Gnarly both land. Nice combination. Gnarly throws a nice looking combination but Knight bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Gnarly falls off balance throwing a combination
#TD2# and Knight counters with a nice double leg into guard. Knight controlling from the top position. #SU2# Gnarly is working an open guard so Knight takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Gnarly looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.#T2# Gnarly throws a series of punches but Knight avoids them all with ease. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#CL2# Knight forces Gnarly back against the cage and clinches.#BC2# Knight breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Gnarly. Bob Gnarly is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Gnarly is fending him off so far but Sambueza persists. Nope, Gnarly circles away and we're back to standing. Gnarly throws a nice looking combination but Sambueza bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Gnarly misses with a double jab.
Gnarly takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.#TD# Sambueza fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gnarly sprawls well initially but Sambueza persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gnarly is looking to get back to is feet but Sambueza passes into side control.

I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. #SUB# Sambueza thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. You can see the frustration on Gnarly's face as Sambueza controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
