Mavers is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bronson defends it well.
Mavers uses his free foot to push down on Bronson's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bronson.

Gharibi has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Mavers is landing a low percentage of strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gharibi darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Mavers's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Gharibi before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
