#R1##CL2# Power moves into the clinch. Power takes a knee to the side of the body. #BC# Rob's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#CL2# Power closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Power fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Rob working some nice short punches in the clinch.#TD2# Power jumps guard.
Power keeping moving, preventing Rob from controlling successfully. Rob scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Rob keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Power's head. Rob cracks Power with a solid left hand. Power trying to control the position.
Rob works over Power with some ground and pound from guard.#T1##SUB2# Power has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Rob is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Power. Power taking punishment in the form of punches.
Power is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rob connects with a decent elbow. Power tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rob wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Rob in side control lands a decent elbow. Power throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. #SUB# Rob tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Rob will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Power sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Rob lands strikes from half guard.#T2# Rob is thwarting Power's attempts to control the position. Rob seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Power on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Power is pressing down on Rob's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.#SUB2# Rob is sitting in close to Power's body. Power has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Rob is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Rob is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Power.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jack Power! Jack Power is the new welterweight champion!

#R1# Power fails with the takedown and Toole I V counters with a stiff right hand. Power shoots and misses and Toole I V makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Toole I V lands a lovely overhand right. Toole I V cracks Power with a right hand to the side of the head. Power doesn't succeed with the takedown and Toole I V counters with a lovely shot to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Power. That's going to take a lot out of him. Toole I V lands a nice hook to Power's body. Power takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Toole I V scores with a jab to the jaw. Power has his takedown stuffed and Toole I V counters with a stiff right hand. #CUT2# It looks like Jack Power has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Power doesn't succeed with the takedown#KD2# and Toole I V counters with a crisp one two that drops Power! Toole I V thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Power to his feet! Power is in big trouble! Power is breathing heavily.#KD2# Toole I V lands a big uppercut and Power crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Power looks OK. Toole I V waves Power back to his feet!#ROC2# Power is rocked! Power doesn't succeed with the takedown and Toole I V scores with a counter punch that sends Power to the canvas! Toole I V smells blood - he's punishing Power with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Power has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
