Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rasmussen sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Flange is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Rasmussen looks up at the clock and then as Flange takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rasmussen smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

#TD# and Rasmussen counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Rasmussen chips away with some ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Rasmussen's corner. There ya go! There ya go! #SU# Rasmussen stands and steps away. Kain gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Rasmussen takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Rasmussen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Kain bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Rasmussen's head backwards.#CL# Rasmussen instigates a clinch. #TD2# Kain tightens his grip and picks Rasmussen up, before dumping him to the ground. Rasmussen manages to land in guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Kain working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rasmussen's head.#CUT2# It looks like Broderick Rasmussen has been cut. Kain has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rasmussen has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
