Gardner gets back to full guard.
Reyno trying to control but Gardner is working from the bottom. Gardner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gardner is pulling down on Reyno's head to control his posture. Reyno throws a big right hand that misses. #T1# Gardner keeping moving, preventing Reyno from controlling successfully. #SUB# Gardner had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Reyno defends it easily. Reyno wanted to stand there but Gardner had control of the position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gardner is on top in guard.

Reyno is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. A chopping leg kick lands by Reyno. #CL2# Reyno instigates a clinch. #BC2# Reyno breaks the clinch.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Reyno is being controlled here. Woodward seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Reyno for as long as he can get away with. Woodward has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Chauncey Woodward will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
