#R1# Gardner bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. It looked like Gardner was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Gardner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Gardner wants to clinch but Chun slips to the side and Chun counters with a three punch combo that has Gardner backing up. Gardner nods at Chun to acknowledge the strikes.#ROC2# Gardner is rocked! Gardner moves in looking to clinch but Chun pushes him off. Oh Gardner is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Chun pulls out of a head kick attempt.
#CL2# Chun rushes Gardner and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Gardner tries to score a body lock takedown but Chun shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Chun avoiding damage as Gardner throws knees to the body.
Chun comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Chun stalls. Chun scores with an uppercut up the middle.#TD2# Chun manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. #SUB2# Chun escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gardner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Chun pulls Gardner in close to prevent any damage. Gardner with a flurry of punches that miss. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Chun avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. #SUB2# Chun had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Gardner defends it easily. Chun thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. #T1# Gardner in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gardner chips away with some ground and pound.#SUB2# Chun is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gardner is aware though and is defending well. Gardner seems to have got his legs back now. Gardner will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Gardner scoring with punches to the head and body. Gardner wanted to stand there but Chun had control of the position. Chun seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. #SUB# Gardner is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Chun is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. #T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gardner stopping the sweep attempt from Chun. Chun working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Gardner. #SUB2# Chun looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#CL2# Chun gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Gardner can't break the clinch.
Gardner is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Chun managing to block the knees to the body from Gardner.
#T3##TD2# Chun tightens his grip and picks Gardner up, before dumping him to the ground. Gardner manages to land in guard. Gardner wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Chun throws a strike but Gardner rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# Chun striking off his back but it's not causing Gardner any problems. Chun lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Chun trying to control but Gardner is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T4# Chun wants to pass the guard but Gardner is keeping the position. Gardner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gardner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gardner keeping moving, preventing Chun from controlling successfully. Gardner working a defensive guard here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Chun wants to stand but Gardner has a closed guard, so he can't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wing Chun dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! #R2##TD2# Chun scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Chun trying to control the action but Gardner is working from the bottom. A lull in the action here as Chun stalls from top position. Gardner tries to buck Chun off but Chun is having none of it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Gardner is trying to control Chun's posture but Chun avoids it. Chun controlling the position from side mount. Chun advances to mount. Gardner slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Gardner avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Chun. #SUB2# Chun is working for a submission of some sort.

Chun prevents Gardner from improving his position. Chun perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. #T3# Gardner tries to roll over but Chun keeps him under control. Chun not landing any meaningful shots this time. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.#CL2# Chun fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Gardner, pushing him back against the cage. Chun trying to stall but Gardner improves his position.
Chun prevents Gardner from breaking the clinch.#TD2# Chun successfully pulls guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gardner distracts Chun with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.#SUB2# Chun throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Chun looking for a sweep. Not yet Chun, not yet. #T4# Chun wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Chun looking to control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.#SUB# Gardner has gone for a leg lock! Chun slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gardner's guard.#REVB# Wing Chun has got the better of the ground game so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gardner is on top in guard.

Gardner keeping moving, preventing Chun from controlling successfully. Chun has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Gardner wants to sweep here but Chun controlling him for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Not this time though. Chun is thwarting Gardner's attempts to control the position. Chun stalling away here and it's allowed Gardner to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Gardner can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chun controls the pace. Chun trying to control the position from guard on top but Gardner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB# Chun sitting in guard doing not very much at all here. Gardner doesn't need a second invitation though! He's locked up a guillotine and he's squeezing tight! That is tiiiiiiiiight! Chun paying the price for stalling here - he's pushing hard on the arm trying to free himself but it's no use! He's tapped! WOW, quick submission from Gardner - great work!
