Barath tries to roll over but Walsh keeps him under control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walsh takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.#SU# Walsh decides to stand up. No luck with that takedown attempt from Barath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL2# Barath closes the distance and clinches. Barath stalling.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Barath is trying to drag Walsh to the mat but Walsh just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. That was a close round but I would say that Chase Walsh will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Horrible takedown attempt by Barath or perhaps it was just good defense by Walsh, which made it look bad. Walsh misses with a takedown attempt - Barath sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Walsh takes a solid shot to the body. Barath tries to buck Walsh off but Walsh is having none of it. You can see the frustration on Barath's face as Walsh controls the position. Walsh works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Walsh lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Walsh in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. #SU# Walsh decides to take the fight back to the feet. Barath is breathing heavily. Walsh goes for a double leg but Barath avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Barath continues to drive forward. Barath throws a combination. Walsh tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

#R1##CL2# Vicky pushes Walsh up against the cage in a clinch. Walsh keeps control of Vicky as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Walsh as Vicky tries to tie him up. Walsh drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Vicky has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Walsh is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Walsh gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Walsh not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. #SUB2# Vicky has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Walsh can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #ES2# Vicky pushes Walsh off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Henderson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Walsh defends well and Henderson ends up having to push Walsh into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Walsh stays in close to Henderson 's body and controls the position.
