#R1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Maeda is defended easily by Slime. We've been hearing reports that Slime has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Maeda avoids a punch combination nicely.
Maeda misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Slime changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Slime misses with a two punch combination.
Slime connects with the punch. Slime connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Maeda momentarily.
#TD2# Maeda shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Maeda showed some decent athleticism there. Slime is trying to stand.

Maeda has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mccray is trying to control Maeda's posture but Maeda avoids it. Maeda connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mccray some visible discomfort.
