The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Killer has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. and Killer counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Killer with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Islawski to score with a decent uppercut. Killer throws a sloppy head kick and Islawski moves out of range easily. Killer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. #CL2# and Killer holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Both guys are working to get underhooks. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Killer takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Killer goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Claw looking to slow down the pace here. Claw using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Killer has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
