Gulakaev throws a big counter combination but Morato scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Morato misses with a body kick. Gulakaev throwing a counter right hand but Morato manages to avoid it. Morato misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gulakaev changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.#CL2# Morato has managed to clinch.

Gulakaev displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Morato. Morato lands a head shot. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gulakaev ducks under a wild hook from Morato. An inside leg kick lands from Morato. Morato connects with an inside leg kick. Tomas Morato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#T1# Morato comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Morato rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gulakaev moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gulakaev misses with a low kick. Morato tries to bum rush Gulakaev with a series of wild strikes but Gulakaev uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Gulakaev half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Gulakaev drops his hands momentarily and Morato takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. #TD2# Gulakaev gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Gulakaev is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Morato chips away with some ground and pound. #R1# A jab from Cambi finds it's way through Gulakaev's defenses. Cambi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cambi throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
#TD2# and Gulakaev counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Cambi! #SUB2# Gulakaev is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cambi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Cambi wants to get back to his feet.#SUB2# Gulakaev is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cambi has escaped the position, nice work there. #SUB2# Gulakaev working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!#SUB2# Gulakaev tries for a kimura but Cambi is defending well. #T1# Cambi is not content to let Gulakaev control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Gulakaev is working for what looks like an arm triangle here.
