#R1##CL# Tank gets a clinch. Wilkins gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Tank.
Tank tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wilkins just stands there and leans against the cage. Wilkins is trying to pull guard but Tank turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Tank looking for a takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henk Tank. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tank is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.#BC# Tank breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tank is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wilkins tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tank is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wilkins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tank swivels and escapes. Wilkins will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Wilkins has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Tank fails miserably with a takedown attempt.#T1# Nice sprawl there from Tank as Wilkins shoots in. Tank went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Wilkins shoots in looking for a takedown but Tank manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Wilkins's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Tank half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Wilkins misses with a takedown attempt - Tank sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Wilkins shoots in but no luck this time. Tank fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Tank changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Tank throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Wilkins's head. Wilkins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tank manages to avoid it. Tank tries to counter by clinching up but Wilkins breaks away and moves out of range. Tank digs a good body shot into Wilkins's ribs.#CL# Tank rushes Wilkins and presses him up against the cage.#T2# Wilkins is trying to push Tank away but Tank has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Tank jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Wilkins walks away with a smile on his face. Tank gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Tank shoots in but no luck this time. Tank stuffs the takedown. Tank misses with a double jab
#TD2# and Wilkins counters with a nice double leg into side control. Tank won't be happy with that. Wilkins looks winded! The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#SUB2# Wilkins is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tank knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Tank is looking to regain half guard here but Wilkins keeps moving and retains side control. #T3# Wilkins is looking to take a break and control but Tank is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tank tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Wilkins lands a nice shot to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilkins has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tank's face.
Tank knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilkins on the ground. Tank working to try and regain half guard.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Tank looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Wilkins! Submission of the night perhaps?
