#R1# Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Shaw. Mills is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Shaw.#CL2# Shaw instigates a clinch. Shaw can't break the clinch.

Mills leaves Shaw with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Mills is looking to counter with a shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shaw shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mills as he avoids it easily. Mills was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Hayden Mills has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damien Shaw. Shaw fails miserably with a takedown attempt.#T1##TD2# Excellent takedown into side control there by Shaw. #SUB2# Shaw wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Mills, who protects the arm well. Mills is looking for a sweep. Mills struggling a bit here. Mills keeps Shaw under control for a moment. Mills is trying to control Shaw's posture but Shaw avoids it. #T2# The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mills sneaks back into half guard. Mills is controlling Shaw's position as best he can from this difficult position. Shaw wants to pass to mount but Mills is defending the position. Mills is positioning himself well to prevent Shaw advancing to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T3# Mills is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Shaw's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Shaw's back! Shaw looks winded! Mills scores with punches and elbows. Mills biding his time, controlling Shaw. #SUB# Mills is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Shaw knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Shaw for a finish. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Mills loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Shaw hold on?
#T4# Mills is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Mills gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Mills gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Mills apologises and we restart here on the feet.
A jab from Shaw misses. #CL2# Shaw rushes Mills and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mills has Shaw pushed against the cage. Shaw tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Mills's elbow. Mills stalling in the clinch.
Shaw is looking to control Mills's arms but Mills gets an underhook and turns him. Now Shaw has his back to the cage. #TD# Mills wants the takedown. Shaw is fighting it off but Mills persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Shaw's guard against the cage. Shaw wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Mills manages to pass to side control. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#REVB# Shaw is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mills's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mills's back! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hayden Mills will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! #R2# Shaw shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mills sprawls well. Mills wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Shaw gets slowly back to his feet. Mills is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Damien Shaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shaw looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Damien Shaw is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.#CL2# Shaw drives through and clinches with Mills against the cage.

#BC# Mills pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.#T1# Shaw lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mills circles away quickly and effectively. A quick step to the side and Mills tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.#CL2# Shaw closes the distance and pushes Mills back into the cage.#BC# Mills breaks the clinch.
No luck for Mills with that takedown attempt. Mills uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Shaw.#TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Mills. Shaw is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Check out the look on Mills's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Shaw is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mills yanks on the arm and Shaw is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mills.
