Cyborg Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dincht connects with a good right hand that stumbles Silva. Silva circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Silva's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Silva's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Silva is rocked!
Dincht cracks Silva with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Silva tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Dincht pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Silva is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zell Dincht!

Phol takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Silva keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jab, jab by Silva - just one landing.
Silva jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Silva takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Phol throws a shot from downtown. Silva moves away and avoids it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Silva! But no joy.

and Silva takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Silva will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Phol scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Silva displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Phol throws out the jab.
Silva throws a push kick but Phol slaps the foot to one side.
Phol was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
