Robles throws a nice looking combination but Powell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Robles throws a left and a right that both miss
#TD# and Powell counters with a takedown into side control. Powell lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Powell throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Robles dodges the ground and pound from Powell. Robles taking a bit of punishment here - Powell scoring with strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Robles takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.#SUB# Powell tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Powell really is a fat lump. Robles defending against the ground and pound. #T1##SU# Powell has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Robles misses with a double jab
#CL# and Powell counters by clinching up. Powell can't get the takedown.
Powell has Robles pressed against the cage.
Powell jumps guard but Robles stands there with Powell around his waist. Powell gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
#BC# Powell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#T2# Robles works over Powell's head and body with a nice combination. A combination from Robles does no damage. Powell tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Robles manages to circle out of the way.#TD# Powell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Robles looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.#SU# Powell stands up and we're back to a striking position. Robles throws a combination that misses #TD# and Powell counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Robles! Robles looks winded! This has been an exciting period of action! Powell cracks Robles with an elbow. That is naaassty. Powell looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Robles is avoiding damage well.
Robles bucks up and tries to throw Powell off but instead Powell has got his back!#SUB# Powell has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Robles! Can he survive? No! He's out! Powell gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
