The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fernandez throws a big elbow that misses. Fernandez stays in close to Underwood's body and controls the position. Fernandez trying to control the position from guard on top but Underwood is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fernandez throwing strikes from guard but Underwood blocks nicely. #T1# Fernandez's corner is telling him to maintain position. Underwood wants to sweep here but Fernandez controlling him for the moment. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Brown controls Underwood momentarily but Underwood frees himself. Underwood is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU# Brown is working an open guard so Underwood takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Pounder tries to land a sweep but no joy. Pounder bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Poole wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Underwood is now in half guard. Underwood sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Poole defending well though.
