#R1##TD# Norman throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Erling was covering up waiting for the punch and Norman finishes the takedown easily into guard. #SUB2# Norman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Erling has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Norman has managed to get both his arms back between Erling's legs - danger averted. Norman is stalling in the full guard. Norman could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#SUB2# Erling escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Norman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Erling controls Norman momentarily but Norman frees himself. #T1# Norman engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Erling trying to keep a closed guard but Norman is proving a slippery customer.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Norman is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Norman throws a lazy right hand but Erling sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Erling throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Norman's waist but Norman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Erling off to one side. Norman feinted with a counter takedown. Erling is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Norman half committed to a counter leg kick. Norman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Norman wants it to stay on the feet. Erling with a poor takedown #CL# and Norman holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Erling tries to score a power double leg takedown but Norman sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Erling somewhat. It looked like Norman wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Erling shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Norman defends it nicely. Erling looks winded! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
