Adkisson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Peterson. Adkisson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Peterson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Peterson wants it to stay on the feet. Adkisson shoots in but Peterson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Peterson scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Adkisson doesn't seem bothered though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kusuma displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Peterson throws out the jab. Kusuma gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Peterson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Danga de danga de dang - Kusuma scores with a four punch combination! Peterson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Kusuma thinks about the counter body kick. Kusuma misses with a takedown attempt and Peterson counters with a nice uppercut. Lamont Peterson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juvendy Kusuma. Kusuma looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Peterson is fending him off so far but Kusuma persists.
