Sampson fails in his attempt to clinch. Zywicki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#CL2# Zywicki moves into the clinch. Sampson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Zywicki pulls him back up using the underhooks. Zywicki tries a knee to the head but Sampson blocks it.
#BC# Sampson breaks the clinch.
#TD2# Sampson tries to sprawl but Zywicki drives through with a takedown into half guard. Zywicki passes to full mount! Sampson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Zywicki on the ground. Zywicki controlling from mount. Sampson flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
#T1# Zywicki scoring with strikes but Sampson is staying in there. Zywicki controlling the position easily from mount. #SUB2# Zywicki working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Sampson looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Zywicki! Submission of the night perhaps?
