A big left from Closov misses. Carey feinted with a counter takedown. Closov throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Oliver Closov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Closov lands with a straight right. Carey didn't see that one coming. Carey really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nice defenses there by Carey. Carey feinted with a counter takedown. Closov feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Careys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Closov scores with a body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Closov dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A slow jab from Closov misses its intended target. Closov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Carey manages to avoid it. Carey tries to move to mount but Miller blocks the move with his legs. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
