Kawaguchi controlling the position well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walters perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. #T1# Kawaguchi is looking to control Walters's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kawaguchi avoid being mounted? Kawaguchi is refusing to be controlled, as Walters sits in half guard. Kawaguchi trying to hold on to Walters's head to control him but Walters postures up.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kawaguchi can do anything to dispel that myth. Kawaguchi struggling a bit here.
