A chopping leg kick lands by Pope. Pope scores with a nice body kick.
Pope ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pheonix Level seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pope throws a shot from downtown. Level moves away and avoids it. Level fails to land with a series of punches.
Level throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Pope dodges the punch combination from Level.
Level throws a right hand that Pope ducks under and follows up with a left that Pope also avoids with ease. Level is breathing heavily. A chopping leg kick lands by Pope. Pope pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pope throws a leg kick which misses Level's front leg but catches the back leg as Level tries to avoid it. Level takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pope lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Pope showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Level.

Level throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Pope counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Level on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Pope. Pope obviously looking to wear him down.

Level tries to circle away but Pope has him pinned against the cage. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pope has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Pope tries to land a knee to the head but Level blocks with his arms.

Pope lands an elbow that stopped Level in his tracks for a moment. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Level lands a right hand that snaps the head of Pope backwards. Pope is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Level is defending well for now. Level is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.#T2# A knee to the head by Pope.

Pope tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Level scores with a shoulder strike. A knee to the head by Pope.

Level has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pope is proving hard to escape from. #SU# Level stands and steps away. Pope gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Pheonix Level is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. No joy there for Level, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Level misses with a few strikes there.
Level stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Pope. Level tests Pope's chin there with a solid looking shot. Level ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Level misses with a few strikes there.
Pope tries to counter with a clinch but Level shakes him off and moves away. Pope connects with a solid leg kick. Level throws a looping overhand right but Pope ducks down to avoid it. Pope only half commits to the counter leg kick. Level swats away the attempt to clinch by Pope.#T4# Pope tries to clinch up. Level stalks Pope and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pope's face. Pope staggers backwards, shaken. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Level misses with a few strikes there.
Pope moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Pope cracks the inside of Level's front leg. Level's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result. Pope throws a lazy right hand but Level sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Level takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
#CL2# Pope pushes Level up against the cage in a clinch. Pope misses with a knee to the head. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Pope using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Level has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Level looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Level wants to get back to striking at distance but Pope won't allow it.
A nice left hand lands by Level.

Mega Pope dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! #R2# Level chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pope can pounce on him.
Pheonix Level is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Level tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Level misses with a few strikes there.
Pope is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Pope throws a leg kick which misses Level's front leg but catches the back leg as Level tries to avoid it. The fight stays on the outside here - Pope looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pope lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Pope throws a quick inside leg kick. Pope attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Pope throws a wild combination but nothing lands. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A nice combination there by Level.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pope. That's going to slow Level down. Pope walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Level checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. A little feinted left hand from Level on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Pope dodges the punch combination from Level.

#T1# Level checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Level throws a big counter combination but Pope scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Level rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pope moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Level swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Level throws a hook to the side of Pope's head but Pope sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Pope is looking to chop away at Level's legs. Good leg kick by Pope there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Level throws a lazy uppercut
and Pope counters with a head kick. That will keep Level thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Level scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pope showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Level.

Pope has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Some wild striking there from Level.

#ROC2# Level is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pope will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Level up against the cage. Oh Level is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#T2# Pope fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Level lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pope circles away quickly and effectively. Pope connects with an inside leg kick. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Level throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
#TD2# Pope closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Level is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pope's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pope's back! Level trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Pope looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Level is looking to get the fight back to the feet. Pheonix Level has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mega Pope is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.#SUB# Pope showing good submission defense here.
You can see the frustration on Pope's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mega Pope. Well Pope has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Level tries to bum rush Williams with a series of wild strikes but Williams uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Williams throws a series of punches but Level moves out of range. Level swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Sloppy strikes from Level. Those never looked like landing. Level avoids a punch combination nicely.
#KD# Williams lands a big uppercut and Level crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Level looks OK. Williams waves Level back to his feet!#ROC# Level is rocked! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Williams is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.

Palakiko is stalling in the full guard. Palakiko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Level. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Palakiko looking to sit in guard and control but Level gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR##SU# Level gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Level feints a jab promting Palakiko to slip. Level then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Palakiko slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#KD# Oooooh!!! Level has knocked Palakiko down with a huge combo! Level steps away and waves a wobbly Palakiko back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! This has been an exciting period of action!#TD2# Palakiko shoots in and gets a takedown into Level's guard.#SUB# Level working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Palakiko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Level looks to score with a jab to the body but Palakiko is just out of range. Palakiko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Level throws a right and a left that Palakiko avoids nicely. Pheonix Level is winning the standup battle so far. Palakiko tries to shoot in for a takedown. Level gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Good standup being displayed there by Level as he connects with a hook.#T3# Level lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Palakiko fails to land the takedown. Level throws a right and a left that both miss. Palakiko drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Level defends it well. Palakiko tries to score a power double leg takedown but Level sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Palakiko somewhat. Nice uppercut there from Level. Level throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Level pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Palakiko was done - good stoppage!

Willis tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Level defends well and Willis ends up having to push Level into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Willis with a poor takedown and Level counters with a big right hand! Oh Willis is in trouble here! Level follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

#CL# and Brown moves into the clinch.#BC# Brown escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Brown walks into a stiff left hand from Level.#CUT2# It looks like Federico Brown has been cut. Level batters Brown with a massive right followed by a huge left! Brown is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Level lands a final crushing right hand to drop Brown to the mat with a gruesome thud! Level is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
