Lance with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A shot to the liver by Lance. Beautiful body shot.

Lance closes the distance and pushes Larson back into the cage.
Lance lands with a light punch inside.
Larson has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Lance avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Larson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Samwell Lance has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erik Larson.

Lance lands with a light punch inside.
Larson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lance after a bit of a struggle.

Lance lands a hook that snaps the head of Larson backwards.
Larson wants to take the fight to the mat but Lance manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Lance throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Larsons head.
A head punch on the inside from Lance fails to land.
Lance is pressed up against the cage. Larson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lance down to the mat. Lance avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Lance tests Larson's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Larson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lance pinned against the cage. Lance gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lance fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lance lands a nice shot that snaps Larson's head back. #ROC#
Larson is rocked!

Larson is still on wobbly legs! Can Lance finish him?

Larson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lance as he avoids it easily.
Larson has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Larson drops his hands for a split second and Lance immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Larson face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Lance follows up with a right hand that knocks Larson into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Samwell Lance started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Larson finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
We've been hearing reports that Larson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Jab by Garbrandt.
Garbrandt swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Larson.
Larson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Garbrandt counters with a nice uppercut.

Larson has hold of Garbrandt's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Garbrandt manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Larson is working for a rear naked choke. Garbrandt is not defending it well and Larson has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Garbrandt refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Garbrandt's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Lance uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Larson.
Lance lands a jab to the nose.
No luck for Larson with that takedown attempt.
Lance fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lance is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Larson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Larson takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Lance fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Larson to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Larson looks to clinch but Lance throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Larson taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Samwell Lance decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

Larson misses with a takedown
and Laston counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Larson's coach down at El Tico 's Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Larson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Laston connects with the punch.
Laston lands with an uppercut that bounces Larson off the cage and back into range.#KD#
Oooooh!!! Laston has knocked Larson down with a huge combo! Laston steps away and waves a wobbly Larson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC#

Jon Laston decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Larson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Barksalot is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Barksalot flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Larson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Barksalot and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Larson slips an arm under Barksalot chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Larson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Larson is squeezing on Barksalot like an anaconda would it's prey. Barksalot fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Larson throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Yahh tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Larson is in Yahh's guard.#SUB#
Larson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Larson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Yahh really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Larson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Larson is pushing down on Yahh's leg trying to pass to half guard. Yahh is fighting to maintain full guard but Larson has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Larson in particular looking to stall.#SUB#
Larson is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Dunc takes a swing at Larson's ribcage but misses.
Larson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Larson throws a hook to the side of Dunc's head but Dunc sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dunc moves in looking to clinch but Larson pushes him off.#TD2#
Dunc gets caught napping as Larson dives in and scores a takedown. Dunc manages to retain guard.

Larson wants to control from the top but Dunc keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Dunc pulls Larson in close to his closed guard and prevents Larson from doing any damage or advancing position.
