#R1# Chill lands a front kick.#CL2# Chill darts in and clinches Perez up against the cage. Perez is looking to break free of the clinch but Chill has double underhooks. Perez tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Chill just stands there and leans against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Perez tries to pull guard but Chill won't allow it.
Perez content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Chill is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Perez prevents Chill from breaking the clinch. Chill jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Perez walks away with a smile on his face. Chill gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. #TD2# Chill drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.#ES# Perez has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Chill has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Perez leaning his opponent against the cage. Chill fails to pull guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chill tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Perez just stands there and leans against the cage. Weston Perez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Chill.#T1# Chill is looking to break free of the clinch but Perez has double underhooks. Chill's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.#TD# Perez decides to pull guard. Chill is in close to Perez's body, working some short punches and elbows. Chill postures up.
Chill won't allow Perez to sweep him here. #SU2# Chill stands up and waves to Perez to follow him. #TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Perez enables Chill to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Perez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.#T2# Chill stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perez swivels though and keeps the full guard. #SU2# Chill gets to his feet - Perez follows without any prompting. A left and a right from Chill both land. Nice combination. #TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Perez enables Chill to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Perez manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chill scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Chill slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Perez wants to stand up but Chill is controlling him. Perez really is a fat lump.#T3# Chill controls from within his opponent's guard. Chill tries to free his leg and advance position but Perez is retaining full guard. Chill controls the pace of the fight for a moment. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.#ES# Perez manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.#BC2# Chill pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Chill throws a lazy head kick and Perez makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Chill scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.#T4##CL2# Chill closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. #TD2# Chill turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Perez is trying to get back to half guard. Perez is trying to control Chill's posture but Chill avoids it. Chill scoring with punches and elbows. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Chill controls the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. It looks like Chill might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chill steps away and waves a wobbly Perez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2# Perez is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Weston Perez has been cut.#CL2# Chill has taken the fight to the clinch.
Oh Perez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!#TD2# Chill has Perez pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Chill pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Perez tumbling to the mat - Chill dives into Perez's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chill postures up and lands a big shot to Perez's brow. Chill wants to pass the guard but Perez is keeping the position. Chill passes Perez's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Chill is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Perez is hurt! He's hurt bad - Chill fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Perez from any more punishment! Congratulations to Chill! Great finish!
