#R1# Montgomery bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. We've been told by Montgomery's head coaches at GWad's Playpen that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.#KD# Montgomery lands a big right hand that sends Lane crashing to the mat! Montgomery stays standing though and waves Lane back to his feet!#CUT# It looks like Julian Lane has been cut. Lane misses with a hook
and Montgomery counters with a body kick. Lane looks winded! Montgomery lands an uppercut, right on the button! Lane tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

#R1# Babayega throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lane sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lane works Babayega's body with a nice hook. Babayega moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Lane slips a jab from Babayega. Lane takes a jab right on the kisser.
Babayega keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
#CUT# It looks like Julian Lane has been cut. Lane moves away from the strike by Babayega. Lane fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Babayega on the side of the head. A jab from Lane misses. Babayega scores with a body shot.
Lane misses with a wild body shot. #KD# Babayega lands a big right hand that sends Lane crashing to the mat! Babayega stays standing though and waves Lane back to his feet!#ROC# Lane is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lane throws a looping overhand right but Babayega ducks down to avoid it. Babayega appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Lane is still on wobbly legs! Can Babayega finish him? Babayega weaves into range and cracks Lane right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Lane goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Babayega is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Djimon Babayega! In his post fight interview, Djimon Babayega started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

#R1# Weasal misses with a body shot.
Weasal scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Ware moves out of range of the strikes. Ware slips under a jab. A cross from Weasal lands. Horrible takedown attempt by Ware or perhaps it was just good defense by Weasal, which made it look bad. Weasal stuffs the takedown attempt from Ware. Ware gets slowly back to his feet. Weasal stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Weasal wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DeMarcus Ware. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ware takes a jab right on the kisser.
Weasal swats away the attempt to clinch by Ware. Ware swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ware lands a nice leg kick that just misses Weasal's sensitive parts. Weasal misses with a wild combination.
#T1# Weasal fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ware manages to avoid it. Weasal throws an overhand right that lands on Ware's shoulder, as Ware tries to avoid the shot. Weasal with a hook. Weasal misses the body punch and Ware counters with a flying knee. Nice. Ware throws a nice looking combination but Weasal bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Weasal connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ware momentarily.
Test Weasal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#KD2# Weasal drops Ware with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ware looks back up at him and smiles so Weasal waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#CUT2# It looks like DeMarcus Ware has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A big right from Weasal misses. Ware fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Weasal misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ware closes this distance looking for a takedown but Weasal circles away. Ware shoots in for a takedown but Weasal shows good takedown defense. Weasal looks like he wants to counter punch here. Ware is breathing heavily. Ware gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.#T2# Weasal looks to land a combination but Ware avoids it well. Weasal scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ware in his tracks. Weasal lands with a straight right. Ware didn't see that one coming.#ROC2# Ware is rocked! Weasal throws a nice looking combination but Ware bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Weasal dips to his left and cracks Ware with an uppercut! Oh Ware is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Weasal might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Weasal looks to throw the jab but Ware is out of range. Ware seems to have got his legs back now. Ware moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Test Weasal is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Weasal jabs Ware to the body, keeping him at a distance. Weasal defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ware. Ware avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Weasal is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ware had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.#KD2# Weasal drops Ware with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ware looks back up at him and smiles so Weasal waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Weasal punishes Ware's body with a nice straight punch. Weasal lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ware circles away quickly and effectively. Weasal will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ware changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.#T3# Ware staying out of range there. Weasal scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Weasal throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Weasal throws out a loose jab but Ware uses good head movement to avoid it. Nice shot lands for Weasal. Ware gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Ware tries to close the distance and clinch but Weasal swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Weasal misses with a hook. Ware ducked under it nicely. Weasal lands with a nice body punch. Weasal lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ware circles away quickly and effectively. Weasal scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. This has been an exciting period of action! Ware fails in his attempt to clinch. #T4# Ware tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Weasal defends well and Ware ends up having to push Weasal into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Weasal digs a good body shot into Ware's ribs.#KD2# Weasal lands a big uppercut and Ware crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ware looks OK. Weasal waves Ware back to his feet! Weasal circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Ware to the canvas! Ware doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Weasal keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
