Cobra closes the distance but Mcclain moves to the side and Mcclain makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Cobra changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mcclain looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mcclain tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Cobra wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Budrevicius has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Mcclain is proving hard to escape from. Budrevicius advances position into side control! Mcclain could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Budrevicius gets to mount! Mcclain was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Mcclain looking to hit a scissor sweep but Akulov is one step ahead there. Akulov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mcclain works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Mcclain doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
