Ross has a closed guard, preventing Wilde from standing up. Ross could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ross is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ross's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.#T1# Ross keeping moving, preventing Wilde from controlling successfully. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#TD2# Wilde looks for a takedown. #R1# White shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Ross eats them both and turns towards White to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#TD2# White drives through with a takedown into Ross's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.#SUB# Ross looking for submissions from the bottom but instead White passes into half guard.

Ross is holding on to half guard well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. White trying to control from Ross's half guard. Ross has other ideas though and has regained full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ross is pulling down on White's head. #R1##TD2# Smith throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ross was covering up waiting for the punch and Smith finishes the takedown easily into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB# Smith has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ross to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Smith is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ross pulls down on the head and he's put Smith to sleep! This one is all over!

#R1##TD# Ross darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ross is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Ross controlling the action here. Ross lands with a punch from half guard. Tracy wants to control but Ross is keeping busy.
Tracy has hold of Ross's hands but Ross slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ross lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ross in particular looking to stall.#T1# Nice strikes from Ross there. #SUB# Ross in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Tracy tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Ross!

#TD2# Crady shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Crady showed some decent athleticism there. #SUB# Ross looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Crady stalling away here and it's allowed Ross to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. #SUB# Ross throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crady loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Crady throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ross works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Ross is pulling down on Crady's head to control his posture. #T1# Ross keeping full guard, as Crady tries to pass. Crady trying to control but Ross is working from the bottom. #SUB# Ross escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crady gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Ross bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crady's guard. #REVR# Ross wants to stand and escape but instead Crady has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVB##SU2# Crady gets to his feet - Ross follows without any prompting. #CL2# Crady gets a clinch. #T2##BC2# Crady breaks the clinch.

Ross is concentrating on defense, preventing Crady from advancing position. Crady controlling the pace. Ross controlling the position for now. Ross moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.#T4# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Crady trying to control but Ross is working from the bottom. Crady stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ross swivels though and keeps the full guard. Crady wants to stand but Ross is controlling his posture from full guard. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.#TD# Ross drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.#ES2# Crady bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crady misses with a two punch combination.
As Crady looks to move away, Ross throws a big counter combo but Crady just gets out of the way. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
