#R1##TD2# Durgamodemov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Durgamodemov throws a big right hand that misses. Abbott working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Durgamodemov. #SU2# Durgamodemov stands up from guard. Let's bang! Abbott could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.#CL2# Durgamodemov has closed the distance and engaged Abbott in a clinch.
#TD2# Durgamodemov lands a takedown into guard.
Abbott might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Durgamodemov throws a big right hand that misses. Abbott is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Durgamodemov trying to control but Abbott is working from the bottom. Abbott lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Durgamodemov can do anything to dispel that myth.#SUB2# Durgamodemov throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Abbott escapes and throws Durgamodemov's legs to the side, diving into side control! #T1##SU# Abbott decides to stand back up. Abbott steps back and let's Durgamodemov get back to his feet. Durgamodemov shoots in for a takedown but Abbott shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Durgamodemov shoots for a takedown but Abbott saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. As Durgamodemov tries to get set, Abbott tries to push him back and clinch up but Durgamodemov manages to avoid the attempt. Durgamodemov goes for a double leg but Abbott avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Abbott continues to drive forward. Darrick Abbott has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Khabil Durgamodemov. Abbott dives in and grabs Durgamodemov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Durgamodemov pushes down on Abbott's head and hops out. Abbott throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Durgamodemov. Abbott fails with an attempt to clinch.

Durgamodemov fails with a takedown attempt. Horrible takedown attempt by Durgamodemov or perhaps it was just good defense by Abbott, which made it look bad. Durgamodemov doesn't succeed with the takedown#TD# and Abbott counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Durgamodemov! #ES2# Durgamodemov explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! #T3# A head kick misses from Abbott. Abbott misses with a leg kick #TD2# and Durgamodemov counters with a nice double leg into side control. Abbott won't be happy with that. Abbott takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Abbott manages to work his way to half guard, despite Durgamodemov's best efforts. Durgamodemov thows a huge punch but Abbott dodges it nicely.
Abbott is breathing heavily. Durgamodemov not doing much here.

Abbott looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.#T4# Durgamodemov is trying to control the action in half guard but Abbott is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Durgamodemov throwing shots but Abbott is blocking nicely. Abbott wants to improve his position but Durgamodemov is controlling well.
Durgamodemov lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Durgamodemov lands a nice short elbow. Durgamodemov lands strikes from half guard. Abbott is looking for a sweep. Durgamodemov is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Khabil Durgamodemov will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# Abbott defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Durgamodemov. Abbott lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Durgamodemov circles away quickly and effectively. Durgamodemov lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Abbott is looking to close the distance but Durgamodemov sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Abbott crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Abbott is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

#R1##TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Durgamodemov. Borisov tries to improve position but can't. #SUB# Durgamodemov is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Borisov knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Borisov can't do much from the bottom here. Durgamodemov trying to control the position but Borisov is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Durgamodemov working the ground and pound from side control. Durgamodemov is looking to take a break and control but Borisov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Borisov sneaks back into half guard.#T1# The fighters are battling for position here. Borisov manages to regain full guard. Nice work. #SUB2# Borisov has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Durgamodemov doesn't defend quickly enough and Borisov has managed to lock this one up! Can Durgamodemov escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Borisov on a fantastic submission victory.
