Lonestar changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Lonestar takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Arntz misses with a body shot.

Tim Arntz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

And Lonestar tries to counter it with a takedown but Arntz pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Patterson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Arntz.
Patterson throws a big counter combination but Arntz scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.#KD#
Oooooh!!! Patterson has knocked Arntz down with a huge combo! Patterson steps away and waves a wobbly Arntz back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
A combination from Patterson does no damage.
Patterson throws a nice looking combination but Arntz bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Patterson dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Arntz keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Patterson connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Arntz tumbling to the canvas! Patterson pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Arntz was done - good stoppage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ali Patterson!
An intense looking Ali Patterson took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Gabe T.S. Gardner sorry bro don't ever count me out. I'm coming for the title next.'.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Arntz, as that shot connected.
Stark ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stark lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Stark tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Arntz swings for the body but Stark moves out of range.
Arntz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stark was well out of range. Poor timing from Arntz.
Arntz could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The fighters circle momentarily. Stark darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Stark has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Arntz fails to land with a series of punches.
Stark blocks a jab.
Arntz ducks right into an uppercut from Stark.
Arntz doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A lazy left from Arntz finds it's target.
Stark lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.#ROC2#

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Arntz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stark throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Arntz glances at the clock... BAM! Stark nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Arntz crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Arntz is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ryan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Arntz sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ryan somewhat.

The fight stays on the outside here - Ryan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Oh but Ryan is tightening it up a little... Arntz has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Arntz reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Arntz taps out! Nice BJJ there by Ryan!
