#R1# Good shot there by Conrad. Gracias looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Conrad plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Gracias takes a body punch but keeps moving. Conrad is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Gracias like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Gracias from another fist facial!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bilabong Conrad! During a confident post fight interview, Bilabong Conrad thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

#R1# Irons shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gracias but Gracias pushes him off and we're back to square one. Gracias looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Gracias keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Irons shoots in but Gracias avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Irons. That's going to take a lot out of him. Irons fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Gracias checks it well. #CL# Gracias gets tackled into the cage by Irons. Irons maintains the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracias tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Irons smiles and moves away.

Gracias told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. Irons is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Gracias is defending well for now. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Irons takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Romero really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#TD# Romero gets a trip takedown into half guard. #R1# Sithole tests Gracias's chin there with a solid looking shot. Gracias looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Gracias rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sithole moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Gracias goes for a double leg but Sithole avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sithole continues to drive forward. Gracias throws a wild hook but Sithole just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Gracias gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Sithole raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
