So So shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Montes but Montes pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A looping hook to the body misses from Montes. So So does a little dance to reset his feet.#CL#
So So fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Montes, pushing him back against the cage.
So So tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Montes smiles and moves away.
Montes takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Montes loads up on a big right hand but So So slips the punch.
Montes swinging wildly here.
Montes throws out a loose jab but So So uses good head movement to avoid it.
Montes scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
So So is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Montes.#CUT2#
It looks like Jet So So has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A punch combination from Montes misses.
Montes stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jet So So. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Montes connects with a good right hand that stumbles So So. So So circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Montes paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.#T1#
Montes throws a nice looking combination but So So bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Montes lands an overhand right.#ROC2#
So So is rocked!
Montes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Montes fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops So So to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! So So looks to clinch but Montes throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! So So taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Johnny Montes!
Johnny Montes tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Jet So So spoke after the fight, saying 'I sucked tonight'.

Stark lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
So So wants to slow Stark down by chopping away at his legs. #CL#
Stark darts in and clinches So So up against the cage.#TD#
Stark ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Stark no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Stark working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from So So. #SUB#
Stark is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and So So defends well.
So So wants to control from the top but Stark keeps moving. #SUB#
So So has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Stark to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! So So is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Stark pulls down on the head and he's put So So to sleep! This one is all over!
