#R1##TD# Declan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Declan passes easily into side control. Nice work.#SUB# Declan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Colomar knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Declan trying to control the action but Colomar is working from the bottom. Colomar throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land. #SUB# Declan tries for a kimura but Colomar is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Colomar tries to strike but it doesn't land. Colomar can't do much from the bottom here. A lull in the action here as Declan stalls from top position.#T1# Colomar tries to improve position but can't. Colomar really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Declan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB# Declan has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Colomar is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Declan yanks on the arm and Colomar is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Michael Patrick Declan!
