Harrison tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but MacDonald wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. MacDonald in side control lands a decent elbow. MacDonald grinds an elbow into Harrison's temple. MacDonald trying to control the action but Harrison is working from the bottom. Harrison struggling a bit here. Harrison is looking for a sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. MacDonald working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

#R1# Harrison tries to clinch but Hewitt moves out of range. Hewitt tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Hewitt circles away from the clinch attempt.

Harrison tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Harrison is looking to clinch but Hewitt is avoiding it.
Hewitt with the counter takedown but Harrison avoids it easily. Hewitt throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.#TD2# Hewitt shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hewitt showed some decent athleticism there. Harrison is looking to control Hewitt's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Harrison avoid being mounted? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Harrison tries to roll over but Hewitt keeps him under control. Harrison knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
