#R1# Kessler walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Corrinth Kessler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kamealoha lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kessler thows a leg kick but Kamealoha checks it enabling Kamealoha to counter with a crisp jab. Kessler with a lazy takedown attempt and Kamealoha counters with a straight right hand. Kamealoha has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kamealoha there as he acknowledges the shot. Kamealoha misses with a hook. Kessler is looking for a counter combo. Kamealoha looks winded! Kamealoha avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kamealoha throws out a counter right but Kessler avoids it with no problem. Kessler has his takedown stuffed and Kamealoha counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Kamealoha misses with a straight left. Kessler tries to counter by clinching up but Kamealoha breaks away and moves out of range. Kamealoha takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kessler shoots in for a double leg but Kamealoha sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. It seemed like Kamealoha was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Corrinth Kessler. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kamealoha scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.#T1# Kamealoha avoids the head kick by Kessler.
#CL2# Kamealoha closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Kessler wants a takedown but no success here.
Kamealoha gets through Kessler's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Kessler wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kessler wants to take the fight to the mat but Kamealoha manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kessler is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Kamealoha is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Kessler looking to stall.

Kamealoha throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kesslers head. Kamealoha avoiding damage as Kessler throws knees to the body.

Kamealoha is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Kamealoha's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Kessler tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kamealoha smiles and moves away.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kessler looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kessler wants to take the fight to the mat but Kamealoha manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Kamealoha lands a nice uppercut. We've been informed that Kamealoha has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.#KD2# Kamealoha drops Kessler onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Kessler is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!#ROC2# Kessler is rocked! Kamealoha creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Kessler's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Kessler drops to his knees and Kamealoha pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1##TD2# Kessler decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Goodman manages to regain full guard. Nice work. #SUB# Goodman has his foot on Kessler's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kessler works his way back into a safe position though.#SUB# Goodman is looking for a triangle but Kessler pushes his legs off easily.
Goodman wants to sweep but no luck. Kessler must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Goodman being controlled here, momentarily. #SUB# Goodman throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kessler sitting in guard, not really doing much. Kessler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Goodman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kessler distracts Goodman with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kessler takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Goodman is looking for a sweep. Kessler is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Goodman taking some punishment here, with Kessler in his half guard. Kessler lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Goodman! More strikes land and this one is all over! Kessler jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
