We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice defenses there by Nordquist. Nordquist shapes to counter with a head kick. Nordquist fails with a takedown attempt.#CL2# Nordquist takes the fight into the clinch. #T1# Nordquist misses with a hook to the ribs.
Nordquist struggles to land a body shot inside as Bohizdar controls his hands.
Nordquist lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bohizdar backwards. Nordquist scores with a shoulder strike. Bohizdar definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Nordquist tries a body shot but Bohizdar blocks it.

Bohizdar throws a sloppy head kick and Nordquist moves out of range easily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Bohizdar takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Bohizdar scores with a jab to the jaw.#ROC# Nordquist is rocked! Bohizdar cracks Nordquist with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

#R1# Mild with a poor takedown and Nordquist counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. #TD2# Mild tries to sprawl but Nordquist drives through with a takedown into half guard. It looks like Nordquist is going to stand back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nordquist uses his free foot to push down on Mild's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Mild. Mild has given up his back. Will we see Nordquist going for some submissions?
#SUB2# Nordquist has managed to slip his arm under Mild's chin. This could be all over... yep, Mild is tapping out! Submission win for Nordquist.

After the fight, John Nordquist was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Mild drops down looking for a counter takedown but Nordquist sprawls and moves away.#TD2# Nordquist gets the takedown into side control. Mild on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mild tries to get out of the position. You can see the frustration on Mild's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.#SUB2# Mild wants to improve his position, back to half guard but Nordquist has ideas of his own. He's got hold of Mild's far side arm and it looks like he's got an Americana. Ohh! Ohhhh! OOOOOOOOOH! A human being's arm is not meant to bend like that! Mild is tapping like a morse code operator on the Titanic! SOS SOS! He's out of here! Great win for Nordquist!

Nordquist tries to buck Tattoo Guy off but Tattoo Guy is having none of it.#SUB2# Tattoo Guy swings around for an armbar but Nordquist sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tattoo Guy's guard. Nordquist passes easily into side control. Nice work. Tattoo Guy sneaks back into half guard. Tattoo Guy is looking for a sweep. Nordquist is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Tattoo Guy felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Tattoo Guy makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Tattoo Guy. Nordquist wants to pass the guard but Tattoo Guy is keeping the position. Nordquist pushes down on Tattoo Guy's leg and manages to get into half guard. Tattoo Guy is pressing down on Nordquist's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Nordquist wants to get up but he can't break Tattoo Guy's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. We've been hearing that Nordquist has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. Tattoo Guy changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tattoo Guy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Nordquist throws out the jab. Tattoo Guy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Nordquist throws a body punch but Tattoo Guy moves out of range. Nordquist throws a leg kick and Tattoo Guy counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!

Nordquist connects with a nice looking jab.
Nordquist pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Dignity appears to be looking for a counter takedown. John Nordquist seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nordquist scores with a hook.#TD# Dignity shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dignity showed some decent athleticism there. Dignity frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Nordquist manages to regain half guard. Good work. Dignity stops Nordquist from getting back to his feet.
#SUB# Dignity looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Nordquist's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Dignity is holding on here and Nordquist must be using up a lot of energy. Dignity has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Nordquist gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

Nordquist scores with a hook. We've been told by Nordquist's head coaches at Never TaP Gym Only For killers that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Nordquist takes a shot right to the bread basket. Nordquist misses with an uppercut. Nordquist misses with a hook. Nordquist swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nordquist ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Coutinho moves away. A shot to the liver by Coutinho. Beautiful body shot. Nordquist throws a half hearted mid kick. Coutinho catches Nordquist with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Nordquist misses the jab. Nordquist takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nordquist avoids the head kick by Coutinho.

Nordquist closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Nordquist pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Coutinho uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nordquist. Nordquist connects with the punch. Nordquist takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ramses has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Nordquist has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ramses. Ramses thuds a left hand into Nordquist's body. Nordquist scores with a nice body kick.
Nordquist throws a head kick that misses. Ramses swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Nordquist. Ramses connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Nordquist throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nordquist throws a solid leg kick but Ramses takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Nordquist. Ramses takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
