#R1# Palakiko shoots in looking for a takedown but Hanma manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Palakiko's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Hanma swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.#TD2# Palakiko drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Palakiko must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Palakiko postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Palakiko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hanma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Palakiko seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #SUB# Hanma is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

#R1# Level throws a body punch but Palakiko moves out of range. #TD2# Palakiko shoots in and gets a takedown into Level's guard. Palakiko trying to control but Level is working from the bottom. Palakiko is stalling in the full guard. Palakiko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Level. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Palakiko looking to sit in guard and control but Level gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR##SU# Level gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Level feints a jab promting Palakiko to slip. Level then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Palakiko slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.#KD# Oooooh!!! Level has knocked Palakiko down with a huge combo! Level steps away and waves a wobbly Palakiko back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Level throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Pheonix Level seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Level throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Level connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Palakiko tumbling to the canvas! Level pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Palakiko was done - good stoppage!

#R1##TD2# Palakiko gets a double leg takedown into cu's guard. Palakiko is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Palakiko stands and throws cu's legs to the side, diving into side control. The strikes coming from Palakiko are missing the target in this wave of attacks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Palakiko is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt cu will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Let's hope that Palakiko has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
