Oooooh!!! The Night has knocked Mascot down with a huge combo! The Night steps away and waves a wobbly Mascot back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#CUT#
It looks like Polly Mascot has been cut.
The Night is pawing at Mascot , trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Mascot 's nose. Mascot is badly hurt! The Night pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Mascot tries desperately to hold on but The Night is relentless in his assault! As Mascot receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls The Night away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steely Eyed The Night!

Wilder really is a fat lump.
Wilder has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Wilder might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Wilder looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mascot is one step ahead there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mascot slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. #T1#
Mascot wants to pass the guard but Wilder is keeping the position.
