Bishop has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Edinhio is landing a low percentage of strikes. Bishop is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Edinhio. #TD2# Bishop looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB# Edinhio looking for submissions from an awkward position here. #R1# Bishop throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bishop throws a hook to the side of Myres's head but Myres sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Sloppy strikes from Myres. Those never looked like landing. Myres swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bishop throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Myres uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Bishop takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A jab from Myres does it's job there.#ROC# Bishop is rocked! Bishop lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Bishop is still on wobbly legs! Can Myres finish him? Myres throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bishop seems to have recovered his senses. Myres lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Bishop is looking to close the distance but Myres sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Bishop crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Bishop is OK because that was naaaaaasty!

That's going to sap some energy.#CL# Kicker clinches up against the cage. Kicker is defending well against a takedown attempt. James Kicker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harold Bishop. Kicker stops a takedown attempt from Bishop.

I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Austin tries to buck Bishop off but Bishop is having none of it. Austin taking punishment in the form of punches.
