#R1# Sands tries to clinch #TD# and Styles counters with a takedown into side control. Styles is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Sands's shoulder. That is not cool. #SUB# Styles tries for a kimura but Sands is defending well. Sands managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Styles.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The strikes coming from Styles are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Styles taking a breather here. Styles works to advance to full mount. Sands defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. #T1# Styles lands a couple of good shots and Sands has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Sands grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Sands grimaces as he takes a shot to the body. Styles lands punches and elbows. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sands tries to break free.
Sands has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Styles. Styles is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Styles gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Styles gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Styles apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Sands throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. #CL2# Sands moves into the clinch. Styles goes for a takedown attempt but Sands pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

#T2# Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Styles tries for a takedown but Sands manages to get underhooks.
Sands is pushing Styles up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Styles is working for takedown but Sands is calmly controlling the position for now. Styles looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Perry Styles. That's going to take a lot out of him. A nice right hand lands inside from Sands. Sands softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Sands prevents the takedown attempt.

Sands throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Styless head. Sands stalling in the clinch but Styles improves position. Sands prevents a takedown attempt there.

Sands lands a left hand that snaps the head of Styles backwards. #ROC2# Styles is rocked! Sands scores with a shoulder strike. Oh Styles is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Sands is pressed up against the cage. Styles has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Sands down to the mat. Sands avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Styles is breathing heavily. Styles takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Sands moves in looking to clinch but Styles pushes him off. Styles feinted with a counter takedown. Sands wants to clinch up but Styles keeps it at a distance. Styles drops down looking for a counter takedown but Sands sprawls and moves away. Styles seems to have got his legs back now.#KD2# Sands lands a big right hand that sends Styles crashing to the mat! Sands stays standing though and waves Styles back to his feet! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Sands connects with a solid leg kick. Sands ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Styles's jaw. Styles's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Sands does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

#R1# A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Styles. Styles dives in and grabs Putkilo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Putkilo pushes down on Styles's head and hops out.#CL# Putkilo takes the fight into the clinch. Styles wants a takedown but no success here.
Erkki Putkilo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Perry Styles.#TD# Putkilo lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Putkilo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Styles pushes Putkilo off looking to stand but Putkilo dives back in and keeps control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Putkilo is taking a breather. Styles says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Styles trying to get back to full guard but Putkilo takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Putkilo looking to control and managing it successfully. #T1# Putkilo forces the positional change into back control. Putkilo is not going to allow Styles to sit and survive in this position. Putkilo controls the action.#SUB# Putkilo has got one arm under Styles's chin. This could be trouble... Styles trying to control the other hand but Putkilo gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Styles has tapped out! The fight is over!
