Ama throws a sloppy head kick and Midoriya moves out of range easily. Ama moves to clinch but Midoriya breaks away and Midoriya counters with a series of strikes. Ama will be more careful next time no doubt. Ama fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Midoriya manages to avoid it. Midoriya avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ama pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Midoriya circles away from the clinch attempt.
Midoriya misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sloppy strikes from Ama. Those never looked like landing. Midoriya avoids the head kick by Ama.
#CL2# Midoriya closes the distance and pushes Ama back into the cage.#BC# Ama manages to break the clinch.
Baby Ama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ama tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Midoriya paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ama stalks Midoriya and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Midoriya's face. Midoriya staggers backwards, shaken. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ama tries to clinch up. Ama avoids the head kick by Midoriya.
As Midoriya looks to move away, Ama throws a big counter combo but Midoriya just gets out of the way.#CL2# Midoriya instigates a clinch. #T1# Ama swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Midoriya darts in looking for a takedown but Ama gets double underhooks and turns Midoriya into the cage. Midoriya throws a push kick but Ama slaps the foot to one side. Ama seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Midoriya misses with a head kick.
It looked like Ama wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Some wild striking there from Ama.
Ama throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Ama wants to clinch up but Midoriya keeps it at a distance. Ama misses with a lunging right hand
and Midoriya counters with a left to the body. Ama tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Midoriya looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Midoriya is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Ama moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Baby Ama!

#R1# Streets with a poor takedown #CL2# and Midoriya counters by clinching up. #TD2# Midoriya manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Streets trying to stand up but can't free himself from Midoriya's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Streets wants to pass the guard but Midoriya is keeping the position. Midoriya wants to sweep here but Streets controlling him for the moment. Streets knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Midoriya on the ground. Midoriya trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Midoriya throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Midoriya wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. #T1# There's a bit of a scramble here and now Midoriya is on top in guard.
#REVB##SU2# Midoriya stands up from Streets's guard - Midoriya perhaps looking for a knockout. Streets is trying hard to land a takedown here. Midoriya sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Streets is breathing heavily.#TD2# Midoriya shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Midoriya was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!#ROC2# Streets is rocked! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Midoriya advances to mount. Oh Streets is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!#SUB2# Midoriya is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Streets to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Streets shrugs it off. #SUB2# Midoriya looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Midoriya lands with some strikes. Streets really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Midoriya controlling from the full mount. Streets looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Midoriya misses with a head shot. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A big strike lands for Midoriya! That's really hurt Streets and he's turned his back - Midoriya keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Midoriya jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
