Pate is looking for a counter combo.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Jenkins.
Pate was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Pate throws a head kick but Jenkins moves out of range.
Jenkins shoots in for a takedown but Pate shows good takedown defense.
As Jenkins tries to get set, Pate tries to push him back and clinch up but Jenkins manages to avoid the attempt.
Pate slaps away a takedown attempt from Jenkins, before circling back to the center of the mat.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bryce Pate will probably get the nod.
