Oleau throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.#TD2#
Oleau shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Oleau showed some decent athleticism there.
Oleau prevents Sonni from standing back up.
Sonni is not content to let Oleau control the position.
Sonni wants to get back to his feet.
Sonni knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Oleau on the ground.
Sonni wants to control but Oleau is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Oleau seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Oleau takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Sonni wants to sweep but Oleau has passed to side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oleau is working to tighten his grip on Sonni's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Sonni has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Oleau is really squeezing tight and eventually Sonni passes out! Oleau breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

After the fight, Hans Oleau was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Donk. Sonni catches Thorton right on the button with a cross.
Thorton tries to close the distance and clinch but Sonni swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Thorton fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
No luck for Thorton with that takedown attempt.
Thorton dives in for a single leg takedown but Sonni sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Devon Thorton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thorton throws a hook to the side of Sonni's head but Sonni sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sonni ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Thorton moves away.
Thorton fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Sonni cracks a nice hook into Thorton's ribs.
Thorton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sonni avoids it really well and circles away.

Devon Thorton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Thorton takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sonni cracks Thorton on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Thorton falls backwards against the cage. Sonni follows up with more strikes that drop Thorton to his knees. Sonni keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Thorton! This one is all over!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sonni creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

King shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Sonni throws an overhand right that drops King like a sack of potatoes! Sonni dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

It looks like Hobbes Thomas has been cut.
Thomas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Thomas shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sonni! But no joy.
Thomas looks up at the clock. Bad move! Sonni lands a right hand from hell, dropping Thomas. Sonni pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
