Mason shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Aguero is trying to defend but Mason finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Mason throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Aguero has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mason is working away from the top position though.
Aguero is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Aguero has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Mason. Oh but Aguero has got full guard now! Oh boy! A momentary lapse in concentration from Aguero enables Eads to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Aguero manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Eads has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Aguero is proving hard to escape from. #SUB2#
Aguero is looking to cinch up a triangle. Eads throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Aguero's body to avoid the submission. Aguero has instead reached around Eads's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Aguero arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Sarraf lands a leg kick that knocks Aguero off balance momentarily.
Sarraf uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Aguero.
Sarraf looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Aguero closes the distance and clinches up with Sarraf, looking for a takedown. Aguero pushes Sarraf against the cage but Sarraf circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
An attempted straight right counter from Sarraf misses the target.
Aguero with a poor takedown
and Sarraf counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Aguero is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Sarraf connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sarraf jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sarraf throws a nice inside leg kick.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Aguero is defended easily by Sarraf.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Aguero shoots in looking for a takedown. Sarraf tries to sprawl out of it but Aguero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sarraf manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Aguero stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Sarraf.
Sarraf misses with a few strikes there.
Aguero shoots in for a double leg but Sarraf sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sarraf swings for the body but Aguero moves out of range.
Aguero drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Sarraf defends it well.#T2#

Aguero looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Aguero takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Sarraf cracks Aguero with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sarraf jabs Aguero to the body, keeping him at a distance.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Aguero drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Aguero seems to have locked his on tight now - Sarraf screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Aguero, as he picks up the win!
