Man doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
#BC# Bam breaks from the clinch.
Bam has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Wolves Den $200 Elite Circuits in the buildup to the fight.#TD2# Man looking to score a takedown here. Bam is defending well but Man drives through and ends up in Bam's guard. Bam is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Man is controlling him. Bam not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
#SU2# Man decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Man fails in his attempt to clinch. #CL# Bam clinches up with Man and pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bam is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Man gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Bam drops down looking for an ankle pick but Man pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bam shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Man but Man pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bam Bam. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bam fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Man avoids it really well and circles away. Bam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#T1# Man doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bam counters with a series of strikes. Man will be more careful next time no doubt. Man darts in trying to clinch and Bam counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Man is lucky that one didn't land flush. Bam fails with an attempt to clinch.
Man throws a body kick that misses. Horrible takedown attempt by Man or perhaps it was just good defense by Bam, which made it look bad. Man fails with the takedown and Bam counters with a one-two to the body. #T2##TD# Bam shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bam was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!#ES2# Man throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bam changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Man tries to avoid it but Bam manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Man to the ground. Man escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. #CL# Bam moves into the clinch. Man is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Bam is defending well. Man is defending well against a takedown attempt.#TD# Bam pulls guard effortlessly. Man won't allow Bam to sweep him here. Man wants to pass the guard but Bam is keeping the position. Man controls from within his opponent's guard. #T3# Bam wants to sweep here but Man controlling him for the moment. Man is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Let's hope that Man has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.#T4# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Man stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bam swivels though and keeps the full guard. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Man looks winded! Man throws a body kick that misses and Bam counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Man looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Bam seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.#CL# Bam clinches up against the cage. Man tries to pull guard but Bam holds him up against the cage and eventually Man drops back down to his feet.
Bam can't get the takedown.
#BC# Bam breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#TD# Man tries to sprawl but Bam drives through with a takedown into half guard. Bam drops an elbow to the side of Man's head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bam Bam dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. #R2# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bam is defended easily by Man. Man wants to counter with a clinch but Bam pushes him away. Man tries to clinch and Bam counters with a left and a right that stings Man. Bam stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.#ROC# Man is rocked! Crunch! Bam slams his shin into Man's torso. Man is still on wobbly legs! Can Bam finish him? Bam Bam is winning the standup battle so far. Man throws a sloppy head kick and Bam counters with a series of strikes. Man will be more careful next time no doubt. Bam lands a big head kick that sends Man to the canvas! Bam follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
