and Corden cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jones throws an off balance right hand
and Corden counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. A big right from Jones misses. Corden looks to score with a jab to the body but Jones is just out of range. Jones tries to bum rush Corden with a series of wild strikes but Corden uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Corden slips a jab from Jones. Corden takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Jones swings and misses with a shot to the body and Jones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Corden looks to land a left hand but Jones moved out of range nicely. Corden throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range. Corden throws a jab but it's blocked by Jones. Jones feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cordens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Corden loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch. Corden misses with a straight right. Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Corden circles away quickly and effectively. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A jab from Jones misses. As Jones backs off Corden throws a huge counter combo but Jones manages to avoid it all. Jones scores with a shot to the body.
Corden throws a body shot but no joy. #T2# Corden jabbing away but nothing is landing. Jones digs a good body shot into Corden's ribs. Corden misses with a series of wild punches.
Corden avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Corden is looking for the big counter here. Jones takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Corden throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. James Corden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Corden keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Corden walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Corden manages to avoid it. Corden throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Jones cracks Corden with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A punch combination from Jones misses. Corden cracks a nice hook into Jones's ribs. Corden avoids the body shot from Jones.
Jones walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.#T3# Jones misses with a combination
and Corden counters with a stiff right hand. Corden bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Corden throws a body punch but Jones moves out of range. It looked like Jones wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Jones throws an overhand right that lands on Corden's shoulder, as Corden tries to avoid the shot. Jones throws out a loose jab but Corden uses good head movement to avoid it. Corden throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.#CL# Jones closes the distance and clinches. Corden wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Jones has him pressed against the cage. Jones stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Jones lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Corden backwards. Jones lands with a right to the head. Corden wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Jones lands a body shot in the clinch.
Corden has had enough of the clinch but Jones keeps him there for the moment. Corden tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position. #T4# A body shot lands from Jones.
Jones lands with a light punch inside. Corden wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A nice right hand lands inside from Jones. A right hook to the body lands for Jones.
Corden looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Jones leaning his opponent against the cage. Jones working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Jones keeps control of Corden as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jones lands a hook to the side of the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Jones. Jones lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones lands a body punch in the clinch. Jones stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Jones digs a right hand underneath Corden's ribcage. Corden let out a lung full of air as it connected. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matthew Jones dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Jones lands with a shot to the body. A right-left combo lands from Jones. Jones misses with a shot to the body and Corden counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jones scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.#ROC# Corden is rocked! Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Jones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Jones cracks Corden with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Corden falls to his knees and Jones doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matthew Jones! During a confident post fight interview, Matthew Jones thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

#R1# Corden feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Spencers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Corden misses with a right hand #TD# so Spencer counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Spencer drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Spencer jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Spencer works a leg free and moves into half guard. #SUB# Spencer is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
#SUB# Spencer is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
This has been an exciting period of action!#SUB# Spencer is trying to work for a kimura but Corden is defending well.
