#TD2# Trujillo gets a double leg takedown into Kandle's guard. Kandle controls Trujillo momentarily but Trujillo frees himself. Trujillo advances position into side control! Kandle taking punishment in the form of punches.
Trujillo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Trujillo cracks Kandle with a big right hand but Kandle just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Trujillo landing strikes. Kandle is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Trujillo looks up at the clock and then as Kandle takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Trujillo smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Trujillo working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Kandle is trying to buck Trujillo off. Trujillo taking a breather here. Trujillo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kandle tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Trujillo wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Trujillo working the body and head with strikes. #R1##TD# Jenkins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.#ES2# Kandle has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jenkins is on him like a limpet, forcing Kandle back against the cage. The referee calls for Jenkins to work.

Jenkins postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Kandle is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kandle is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jenkins couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Kandle displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Kandle throws a right and a left that Shepard avoids nicely. Kandle works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.#ROC2# Shepard is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kandle cracks Shepard's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Shepard slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Kandle can do further damage! This one is done, son!

#R1# Kandle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Giles circles away quickly and effectively. Giles misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.#CL2# Kandle pushes Giles up against the cage in a clinch. Kandle has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.#TD# Giles is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Kandle can't fight it off and eventually Giles manages to take the fight to the floor. Kandle looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.#SU# Giles stands up and waves to Kandle to follow him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kandle throws a combination. Giles tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Horrible takedown attempt by Giles or perhaps it was just good defense by Kandle, which made it look bad. #T1# Kandle lands a nice looking body shot.

Kandle looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kandle is trying to break the clinch but Giles is controlling him. Giles jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kandle walks away with a smile on his face. Giles gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Kandle throws a push kick but Giles slaps the foot to one side. Giles tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Kandle manages to circle out of the way. Kandle misses with a few strikes there.
Giles attempts a counter takedown but Kandle avoids it well and moves away. Kandle lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Giles goes down and covers up as Kandle starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

#R1# A combination from Kandle does no damage. As Kandle tries to get set, Sims tries to push him back and clinch up but Kandle manages to avoid the attempt. Sloppy strikes from Kandle. Those never looked like landing. Sims appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. Kandle looks to land a combination but Sims avoids it well. Kandle fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
It appears Sims was looking to counter with a kick there. Kandle misses with a low kick.
Sims bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Sims wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Kandle misses with a combination
and Sims counters with a nice body kick.

After the fight, Blue Kandle was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
