Assad goes for a small jab and connects. Now Assad goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Solis stumbles back but Assad runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Solis to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Solis will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Golovkin wants to pass the guard but Solis is keeping the position.

Solis got a little sloppy there for a moment and Black has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Solis has managed to get both his arms back between Black's legs - danger averted.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Black is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Solis is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Solis is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Black asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Black has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
