Williams throwing a counter right hand but Venus manages to avoid it. Venus tests Williams's chin there with a solid looking shot. Williams slips a jab from Venus. Nice shot lands for Venus. This has been an exciting period of action! Williams ducks under a wild hook from Venus. Venus cracks Williams's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Williams slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Venus can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Weber looks up at the clock. Bad move! Williams lands a right hand from hell, dropping Weber. Williams pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

Eli Williams seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. We've been told by Williams's head coaches at FORBIDDEN VOILENCE WARRIORS that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Taffy tries to score a power double leg takedown but Williams sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Taffy somewhat. Williams throwing a counter right hand but Taffy manages to avoid it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Williams enables Taffy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Williams manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Williams keeping moving, preventing Taffy from controlling successfully. My spies in Plant works inform me that Taffy has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions.
