Marques punishes King Kong's body with a nice straight punch. Marques looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Marques throws a big shot that misses. Brock King Kong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. King Kong throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Marques counters with a nice uppercut. Nice body punch from Marques. King Kong thows a left - swing and a miss! King Kong will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

King Kong rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Huia moves out of range and avoids them all easily. King Kong tries to bum rush Huia with a series of wild strikes but Huia uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Huia avoids a punch combination nicely.
Huia appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Huia takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Huia showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from King Kong.

Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! King Kong connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Arthur covering up! King Kong comes in with a big uppercut and Arthur goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! King Kong throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Smith stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.#T2# Smith goes for a double leg but King Kong avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as King Kong continues to drive forward. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smith is breathing heavily. Smith lands with a thumping leg kick.

King Kong lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him. Smith slips a jab from King Kong. King Kong stalks Smith and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Smith's face. Smith staggers backwards, shaken. Smith throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Smith shoots for a double leg takedown but King Kong sprawls well. He's pushed Smith's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Smith shoots in looking for a takedown. King Kong tries to sprawl out of it but Smith keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. King Kong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. King Kong appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. As King Kong looks to move away, Hazell throws a big counter combo but King Kong just gets out of the way. Hazell pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Hazell tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but King Kong defends well and Hazell ends up having to push King Kong into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
